AakashDeep, is a signed vocalist of 'Sagarika' and 'Times Music' who started his music career at a very early age with percussion instruments (Tabla) and later got inclined towards singing and melody instruments like Piano, Harmonium and Synthesizers. AakashDeep is a blend of melodious Bengali style singing with a ‘band’-ish focus in his performances. Flexible with most type of singing including old movie songs, new age bands and Hindi urban styles, his voice is unique and non-conventional in terms of tonal quality, overall range and depth. He gave his debut public music performance at the tender age of 9 and started performing all over Calcutta by the end of high school. He received his early age training from Late Sri Binoy Bhattacharya and later from Sri Kumar Ray for vocal rendition in Hindustani Classical. Aakash Deep founded an Indian mellow rock band in Bangalore, India during 2001 and was one of the lead singer and composer for this band between year 2001 to 2005.

In 2009, Aakash Deep released his debut Bengali music album "Chhoto Chhelebela" and title video from Sagarika Music, Kolkata, India. Aakash Deep dedicated this album to all the homeless and orphan children across globe and commits the royalty of the album to child welfare.

In 2008 one of his Bengali compositions 'Aasche Bochhor Abar Hobe' sung by an Indian band became instant hit and popular amongst the youth.

In 2004, he was signed by Times Music as an ‘Exclusive Artiste’ and released his debut Hindi album ‘Nadiyaan” along with two music videos directed by acclaimed video directors. The video was in top charts of leading music channels of India (Channel V, M TV, B4U) and received several critical acclaim.

AakashDeep currently lives in New York, USA and promoting Bengali and Indian music in the North America region.
